The company JERID offers an integrated system of monitoring objects on railway network consisting of the following components:
1. Communication unit with in-built SIM card
The communication unit located on the vehicle provides for precise position location via the satellite GPS system and conveys these positions by means of the GSM network to the server of the service provider within pre-set intervals. The company JERID offers an advantaged international SIM card, incl. activated roaming, designed for communication within networks of mobile phone providers all over Europe. A contingent user defines the mode or frequency of data delivery from the unit at the event of ordering the service.
The communication unit is available in two designs:
- Communication unit for external location on a railway car
- Communication unit for internal location in a railway car

2. Options for data presentation
2.1 Monitoring of individual cars on an Internet application located at https://www.railmap.net/
The customer shall receive an access name, password, a unique generating certificate for monitoring their cars, and one current access to the application. Following log-in, the user can dispose of the following functions:
A. List of monitored objects
- option to register new cars, incl. their description
- option to edit data relating to a particular car
B. Current position of monitored cars
- displaying the last-known position on the map
- option to change ratio scale up to 1:20 000
- displaying the nearest railway station, date and time
- option to display azimuthal marks demonstrating direction of motion of the car
- individual selection of cars and their display on the map
- displaying battery voltage condition
- displaying the speed of moving cars
- displaying the SIM card number
C. Car movement history
- filtering from the list of monitored cars
- setting selection conditions for displaying movement history of a particular car
- print-out of required positions (car No., date, time, nearest railway station and detailed information on the unit)
- displaying selected positions on the map
- subsequent delivery of a required format, it is possible to prepare an import from prepared or obtained data
D. Unit control on the cars
- the user may decide to ask the service provider to change the manner of message sending using control text messages to the unit of a particular car and to change the manner of sending the information

RailMap+
The application RailMap+ is a prime-quality desktop railway map offering, apart from the option to monitor railway cars, also enhanced map functions. The map is designed not only for monitoring of objects on the railway network but it is also suitable for monitoring objects on motorway network all over Europe.

- setting of type and colour of the mark denoting a particular car on the map, separately for each car
