PRICE CALCULATING PROCESSING

Price calculation processing is supported by REQUEST, OFFER and SUPPLIERS PRICELIST modules, which allow filing and managing of the requests, making-up of the offers or cost calculations for chosen transportation, manual or automatic suppliers' prices filing or analysing and effective searching of partial information. The price calculation is backed up by extensive databank of basic information important for railway cargo transportation including fully automated rail tariffs with the possibility of filing the databank with own data of any other type of transportation.

REGISTER OF BUSINESS PARTNERS, REQUIREMENTS AND SHIPMENTS

This is fundamental filing of the system. FILES, REQUIREMENT, CUSTOMER'S PRICELIST, CONSIGNMENT modules allow perfect filing of all business connections. It is possible to assign all supplier pricelists to any contract and to make-up customer pricelists. The consignment filing is supported by functions for fast processing - ADVICE, GROUP INVOICING, which enable electronic transmission. In the REQUIREMENT module the automatic expected supplier's price is calculated, and this prices are used for the control of incoming invoices. All results of the business or cost monitoring can be represented in synoptic reports, which are concentrated in the REPORTS module.

SUPPLIER'S INVOICE CONTROL

Using sophisticated functions in the REQUIREMENT and SUPPLIER'S INVOICE modules it is easy to control invoiced amounts. Powerful tool for this is the possibility to process electronically transmitted invoices from the railways. The RECLAMATION module allows to make-up the reclamation document in case of mistaken invoicing and to monitor the liquidation of the reclamation. Reclaimed amount is than separately quoted in analysis and statistic reports.

INVOICING

The GROUP INVOICING, ENCLOSURE and CUSTOMER'S INVOICE modules are used to make-up the invoice for the customer, to calculate final price and to prepare data for accounting. Specialised function prints invoice including enclosure or prepares data for printing the accounting software. All accounting operations will be realised in the accounting software, which is not substituted by IS NEWSPED. The CUSTOMER'S INVOICE module includes functions for processing the credit notes and invoice cancellation. The payments are monitored in the PAYMENTS module.

MODULE FOR ROAD FORWARDING

Modules SIMPLE ROAD REQUIREMENT, SIMPLE ROAD FORWARDING INSTRUCTION and TRANSPORT ORDER enable, on a single screen, the simplified submission of the entire road transport for one or more vehicles, together with concurrent submission of anticipated costs and revenues. The module supports transport route location by submitting more loadings and unloading, and determines their preferable sequence. From the entered data, a full-fledged transport order, or possibly the loading sheet, can be printed out.

MODULE FOR VEHICLE MANAGEMENT

By means of the module REGISTER and specialized code-books, disposability of railway cars, road vehicles and containers can be monitored. It also provides information on their current location and the type of logistical operation being conducted. In a pre-set advance time, the system warns about oncoming checks and repairs which are bound to restrict disposability of the vehicle. The system can monitor one's own as well as the rented cars and their rental payments, and the subsequent sub-renting of the leased vehicles. Cumulatively, amounts for renting and sub-renting for a given time period (day, month, quarter, etc.) can be generated. For railway cars, further technical parameters pertaining to the car can be monitored.

STOCK CONTROL

This module extends forwarding functionality by basic stock control, monitoring stock goods and flow of goods, and is directly related to the forwarding activities (stock entry from a vehicle, goods loading from stock to a vehicle, detection of "goods in transit" within the stock register, etc.). External goods, unrelated to forwarding activities, can also be registered. This module enables monitoring the costs and thus, generating revenue from stock services, incl. subsequent invoicing. This module includes fundamental surveys essential for stock management and evaluation. In order to generate financial data relating to goods movement, a direct link to the respective accounting system is required.
