Conference "Open Railway Market in Poland"

III. Conference “Open Railway Market in Poland - New Technologies as an Opportunity for the Development of Railways" was held in Warsaw on 1st December 2009. The conference was organized by the Union of employees of Rail Transportation Forum, the Association of Engineers and RP Communications Technicians together with Transportation and Communication journal.
Our colleague Sonia Piechowiak from the company JERID Polska got a lecture about an information system NEWSPED, which she introduced to the conference participants.
The conference was accompanied by the awards ceremony of III year competition "Leader of Rail Transport" and “Personality of the open rail market”.
Among the participants there were representatives of the government, parliament, municipalities and companies associated with the railroad, scientific environment and media.
